Chemical Peels
Chemical peels remove old skin so that new layers can grow in their place. This controlled removal ranges in strength, from superficial peels that use mild acids to deep peels that penetrate several layers of skin which regenerates new skin which is smoother, brighter, and softer.
Depending the type of peel you get, you might have a reaction similar to a sunburn, which may involve scaling, swelling, and blisters. This may last anywhere from 3-14 days, after which time your skin should be smoother, brighter, and softer.
Gentle exfoliative peels freshen the skin, whilst deep peels can smooth, tighten and correct skin problems. We tailor peels to suit a patient’s individual needs; according to whether a gentle or more dramatic result is desired and also whether the peel needs to pass unnoticed or some shedding of the skin can be accommodated.

Exfoliative Peels
These gentle peels penetrate the superficial layers to give clearer, smoother skin with improved hydration and a youthful glow. One treatment will brighten the skin, but a course can reduce pigmentation, wrinkles and breakouts. Treatment fits easily into life because there is usually only mild dryness after the procedure and no downtime. We use combinations of Glycolic, Phytic, Mandelic and Salicylic acids from Obagi, Jan Marini, Skinceuticals and Skintech.
Deeper Peels
These stronger peels penetrate more deeply and can achieve dramatic results including skin tightening and reduction of sun damage, pigmentation, fine lines, open pores and scarring. Some visible peeling occurs 3-7 days after the procedure.
